1. What VINdicated Provides

VINdicated.ai helps consumers research vehicles, compare listings, evaluate vehicle-related information, understand potential pricing signals, and organize car-buying decisions.

Our Services may include vehicle listings, VIN lookup tools, market-position labels, AI-assisted summaries, document analysis, calculators, alerts, and other car-shopping features.

VINdicated.ai is an educational and informational tool only. We are not a dealership, broker, lender, insurer, law firm, financial adviser, mechanic, inspection service, or vehicle seller unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

2. Marketplace Listings and Third-Party Vehicle Data

Vehicle listings, specifications, photos, pricing, availability, dealer information, incentives, mileage, history indicators, and other vehicle data may come from third-party providers, dealers, aggregators, APIs, or publicly available sources.

We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, current, available, fairly priced, free from errors, or free from undisclosed defects. Vehicle availability and pricing can change without notice.

You are responsible for confirming all information directly with the seller, dealer, lender, insurer, manufacturer, inspection provider, or other relevant party before making a decision.

VINdicated.ai does not own, inspect, certify, warrant, or sell the vehicles listed through the Services unless expressly stated.

3. No Professional Advice

The Services are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

VINdicated.ai does not provide legal, financial, tax, insurance, lending, repair, safety, valuation, mechanical, or professional advice.

You should independently verify vehicle condition, title status, accident history, financing terms, fees, taxes, warranties, recalls, odometer readings, dealership representations, and all purchase documents before buying, selling, financing, or leasing a vehicle.

4. AI-Powered Features

VINdicated.ai may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to summarize documents, explain listings, identify risks, compare vehicles, estimate negotiation considerations, generate recommendations, or assist with car-buying research.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or based on incomplete information. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI outputs before relying on them.

We do not use your personal information to train third-party AI foundation models. If this changes, we will update our Privacy Policy and provide any required notice or choice.

5. Market-Context Signals and Price Comparisons

VINdicated.ai may show market-context information for a listing, such as how its asking price compares to comparable listings, a typical asking price, a price range, and labels like 'above typical,' 'below typical,' or 'around typical,' along with reference figures such as base MSRP and estimated invoice.

These are estimates generated from available third-party data, comparable listings, listing attributes, and mileage. They are not appraisals, valuations, guarantees, or recommendations to buy, avoid, or pay any particular price, and they do not mean a vehicle is a 'good deal' or a 'bad deal.' Because trims, options, packages, condition, and equipment vary, a price above or below the typical range may reflect how a vehicle is equipped rather than whether it is fairly priced.

You should independently verify all pricing, fees, taxes, rebates, add-ons, financing terms, and vehicle condition directly with the dealer before relying on any signal or making a decision.

6. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

7. User Inputs, Uploads, and Feedback

You may provide information such as VINs, vehicle preferences, ZIP code, budget, trade-in information, documents, messages, screenshots, listing links, or feedback.

You represent that you have the right to provide any information or files you upload.

You grant VINdicated.ai a limited right to use that content to provide, secure, improve, and support the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Do not upload information you are not authorized to share.

8. Uploaded Documents and Sensitive Information

The Services may allow you to upload vehicle-related documents, purchase agreements, financing terms, window stickers, inspection reports, or similar materials.

You should avoid uploading Social Security numbers, full bank account numbers, driver's license images, medical information, passwords, or other highly sensitive information unless a feature specifically requires it.

Uploaded documents are used to provide the requested feature. Unless a longer retention period is disclosed or required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons, uploaded documents are deleted from active systems after the session or within a limited retention period. Some residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or service-provider systems according to standard retention practices.

9. Purchases and Payments

Certain features (for example, a single Compare Cars report, 30-day access, or 12-month access to premium tools) are available for a one-time fee. All purchases are one-time charges. We do not offer subscriptions and we do not automatically renew or recurringly bill you.

Where a purchase grants access for a stated period, that access ends automatically when the period expires, with no further charge and no renewal; to regain access you must make a new purchase. The price and exact scope of each purchase are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not store your full payment card details.

Refunds. Our reports and checks are digital products delivered instantly, so a Compare Cars report or a Deal Check is non-refundable once it has been generated, and timed access such as 30-day marketplace access is non-refundable once the access period begins. Exception: if a product does not work as described, contact support@vindicated.ai within 15 days of purchase or within 5 days of first use, whichever is later, and we will fix it or issue a refund. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase.

10. Communications, Email, and SMS

By providing your email address or phone number, you agree that VINdicated.ai may contact you about your account, vehicle searches, saved listings, service updates, security notices, and support.

If you opt in to marketing text messages, you consent to receive recurring automated promotional text messages from VINdicated.ai. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You may opt out by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact support@vindicated.ai.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email. We may still send transactional or account-related messages.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
• Scrape, crawl, copy, or harvest data except as permitted by law or written agreement.
• Interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the Services.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, models, prompts, or systems.
• Upload malicious code or harmful content.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Use the Services to spam, harass, or harm others.
• Use automated systems to overload or abuse the Services.
• Rely on the Services as the sole basis for a vehicle purchase, financing decision, legal decision, or safety decision.

12. Intellectual Property

VINdicated.ai and its content, software, designs, logos, trademarks, trade names, text, graphics, and features are owned by VINdicated.ai or its licensors and are protected by law.

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial car-shopping purposes unless we authorize otherwise.

You may not copy, sell, resell, sublicense, or exploit the Services without written permission.

13. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services, including vehicle data providers, analytics providers, payment processors, AI providers, hosting providers, dealers, advertisers, and communication tools.

VINdicated.ai is not responsible for third-party websites, services, listings, terms, privacy practices, or representations.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information.

By using the Services, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

15. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the Services at any time.

We may also update features, remove listings, change pricing, or impose limits.

We are not liable for interruptions, errors, delays, unavailable listings, inaccurate data, or discontinued features.

18. Release

You release VINdicated.ai from claims, disputes, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from or related to vehicle listings, dealers, sellers, buyers, financing providers, insurers, repair providers, third-party data, vehicle condition, vehicle history, pricing, fees, title issues, recalls, accidents, fraud, misrepresentations, or transactions involving third parties.

If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542 to the extent permitted by law.

19. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VINdicated.ai and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your uploaded content, your misuse of AI outputs, your violation of law, or your dispute with a third party.

This includes any claim or loss arising out of your reliance on any listing, price, estimate, or third-party data made available through the Services.

20. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing arbitration or any legal proceeding, you and VINdicated.ai agree to try to resolve disputes informally.

A party must send written notice describing the dispute and requested relief to:

The parties will have 45 days to attempt resolution. This requirement does not apply where prohibited by law or where urgent injunctive relief is needed.

21. Arbitration Agreement

Except for disputes that qualify for small claims court or requests for injunctive relief, you and VINdicated.ai agree that disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Arbitration will be conducted remotely or in Indiana unless AAA rules or applicable law require otherwise.

The arbitrator may award individual relief available in court, but may not conduct class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative proceedings except as required by law.

22. Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver

You and VINdicated.ai waive the right to a jury trial.

You and VINdicated.ai agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, representative, or private attorney general action, except where this waiver is prohibited by law.

23. Arbitration Opt-Out

You may opt out of the arbitration agreement within 30 days after first accepting these Terms by emailing support@vindicated.ai with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and including your name, email address, and a clear statement that you want to opt out of arbitration.

Opting out of arbitration does not affect the rest of these Terms.

24. Mass Arbitration

If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are filed by or with the assistance of the same law firm, organization, or coordinated group, the parties agree to use a staged process. A limited number of cases will proceed first, and the remaining cases will be paused while the initial cases are resolved or mediated.

This process is intended to promote efficient, fair resolution and does not prevent individual claims from being pursued.

25. One-Year Limitation Period

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim related to the Services or these Terms must be filed within one year after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date.

Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

28. General Terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

These Terms, together with any policies or terms incorporated by reference, are the entire agreement between you and VINdicated.ai regarding the Services.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. VINdicated.ai may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or operation of law.

29. Third-Party Data; No Warranty

The vehicle listings, prices, specifications, photographs, and related information on VINdicated are supplied by third-party data providers and originate from publicly available dealer and auction listings. VINdicated does not create, control, or verify this information.

All such data, and any VINdicated estimates or context derived from it (including market-context signals, base MSRP, and estimated invoice figures), are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

You must verify any vehicle, price, fee, or specification directly with the dealer before relying on it.

30. No Affiliation

VINdicated is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer, dealer, data provider, or third-party brand referenced on the site. All trademarks and vehicle names are the property of their respective owners.

31. Content Removal and Copyright

If you are a dealer, rights holder, or other party and believe a listing, price, photograph, or other content is inaccurate, infringing, or should be removed, email support@vindicated.ai with the listing URL or VIN and the basis for your request. We will review and, where appropriate, remove or correct it promptly.

For copyright claims, send a notice meeting the requirements of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. 512) to support@vindicated.ai.
